Special Called Meeting of the Board of Elections and Voter Registration
There will be a special called meeting of the Cherokee County Board of Elections & Registration on Friday, December 7, 2018, beginning at 4:00 p.m. for the purpose of certifying results of the December 4, 2018 General Election Runoff. The meeting will be held at the Albert E. Stone Elections Building, 400 E. Main Street, Canton, Georgia 30114. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Next Meeting of the Board of Elections
The next monthly meeting of the Board of Elections has been scheduled for Monday, January 7, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at the Cherokee County Elections & Registration Office, 400 E. Main Street, Canton, Georgia.
 
Woodstock Precinct Polling Location Change
The Cherokee County Board of Elections and Registration has adopted a polling location change for Cherokee County voters in the Woodstock precinct. The new polling location is Woodstock City Church, 150 Ridgewalk Parkway, Woodstock, GA 30188. This change will be effective for the November 6, 2018 General Election. City of Woodstock voters will continue to cast their municipal ballots at the Woodstock Public Library. All voters affected by this change will be mailed new precinct cards

Emergency Polling Location Change for Avery Precinct
Effective immediately, due to the unavailability of the current polling location, Cherokee County voters in the Avery precinct will no longer vote at Cherokee Baptist Church. For the December 4, 2018 General Election Runoff, Avery voters choosing to cast their ballots on Election Day will vote at Hickory Flat Fellowship Church, 5301 Hickory Flat Highway, Canton 30115. When a permanent polling location is chosen for future elections, all voters in the Avery precinct will be notified by mail with new precinct cards.

Freehome Polling Location Change
The Cherokee County Board of Elections and Registration has adopted a polling location change for the Freehome precinct. The new location is Calvary Baptist Church, 137 Hightower Road, Ball Ground, GA 30107. This change will be effective for the May 22, 2018 General Primary. All voters affected by this change will be mailed new precinct cards showing their new polling location.(read more)
