Early & Advance Voting


Any voter registered in Cherokee County may vote Early in person at any of the Early/Advance locations. This allows you to vote on a day and time that is convenient for you. Beginning on the 4th Monday prior to Election Day, simply visit your county or municipality early voting site, fill out the application, and present one of the permitted forms of photo ID. As Election Day approaches, Cherokee County may have multiple early voting sites and in some cases, extended hours. Voting times and locations for the upcoming May 22, 2018 General Primary/Nonpartisan General Election are as follows:

Early Voting: M-F, April 30-May 4 8:30-5:00 Cherokee County Elections & Registration Office ONLY

Early Voting: M-F, May 7-11 8:30-5:00 Cherokee County Elections & Registration Office ONLY

Saturday Voting: May 12 9:00-4:00 Cherokee County Elections & Registration Office and Libraries listed below*

Advance Voting: M-F May 14-18 8:30-7:00 Cherokee County Elections & Registration Office and Libraries listed below*


*Ball Ground, Hickory Flat, Rose Creek and Woodstock Public Library


On Election Day, Tuesday, May 22, you must vote at your assigned precinct and present a valid photo ID. To check your precinct location online, go to: www.mvp.sos.ga.gov, or call the Cherokee County Elections Office at 770-479-0407 for assistance.
