Electronic Filing ..... Cherokee County
In order to utilize E-File (Electronic Filing), a PIN Number must be obtained from the Cherokee County Elections Office. Download the E-File request form, complete the form, sign, have the form notarized, and file the form with the Cherokee County Elections Office in person or by mail. E-File PIN Application
  Step One - Download the State Campaign Contribution Disclosure Report Affidavit. This affidavit form is required in order to notify the State that the candidate is filing with the County electronically. Complete the form, sign, have the form notarized, and mail the form to the address on the form. State Affidavit CCDR Form
Step Two - Download one of the forms listed below.
Step Three - Fill out the form by tabbing from field to field and inputting the required information, which includes the candidate PIN Number at the top of the first page.
Step Four - When complete, return to the 1st page and click the button entitled "Email Data." Note: An XML file will be emailed to the Cherokee County Elections Office containing the extracted XML data file.
The Cherokee County Elections IT Staff will pull the data file into Adobe Acrobat, merge with the CCDR Form, validate and remove the PIN Number, create a PDF/A file (sealed and archived PDF File) and subsequently publish the file on the elections website. The file will also be available in paper form for public viewing.
